Good interview.
I first lived in Sydney's Kings Cross area and often saw Warren Mitchell in my local supermarket after he retired to Oz.

Can you imagine Alf Garnett with a keyboard on a modern day internet forum talking politics, the state of the world and life in general.
Downing Street Cat
Just seen this. Both JK and Warren looking ravishing.

JK had a fine head of hair back then!
Warren turns up in a couple of radio Hancock's Half Hours as the "interim" Kenneth Williams replacement when Hancock got rid of him. He could do the voices basically but "more real" than Ken, according to Hancock.
KW and Hancock was like many stars at the time, they could do comedy acting but could not write it.
Lucille Ball was the same but she had a good business brain.
