The Express was a decent paper but now it's Private Eye.

It is normally done by dealers as a punishment to people who didn't pay their debts, or muggers, if the person didn't have money on them they would sodomize the poor sod instead or receive oral sex as they hold a knife or gun at the victims head or neck.

hedda Thank you Green Man it's appreciated.

One thing I find and believe that with most victims is that they often blame themselves for being in the situation.

I think Germaine Greer's view is interesting..that victim anonymity implies some sort of shame and victims should be able to shout their ordeal from the rooftops.

## I put off naming the one offender whose name I knew to the patient copper and went to work in Shropshire for 9 months to get me head together. Most enjoyable working as a waiter is a pal's restaurant.

I opened the Daily Express one day to see a double page spread on my 3 rapists..they had been arrested flying a small plane from France full of heroin to a country airport where police were waiting for them.

I think they got 16 years each.

If I had named them to police perhaps they'd never have embarked on that venture..JK's KARMA struck again.

No we discuss aspects of the law.

As a male victim of rape and attempted murder by 3 men 50 years ago now I question all aspects of the law and policing.

Peoples views interest me and I find all cases of interest. Such matters as I found. For the era and type of male on male crime that the Detective I dealt with was sympathetic and kind in his dealings. Very non judgemental.

Other posters have differing views and most of us are aware of the last JK travesty where good law prevailed which I believe raises questions about the Savile matters.

How awful for you. Male rape is more common than people think but it's not always reported to the police.

There was a few cases last year in Hampshire and Devon. It happens in Ireland a lot.

MCR, BBC bleaching their archives is nothing new, they do it all the time to change their narrative or to fit their agenda.
