Solihull Exile She was also involved in Rock Follies, dated of course now,but at the time very origional.
RIP Verity,a talent lost.
The Cat Very little mention of her death in the mainstream media. I only found out via the grapevine. Verity was the original producer of Dr Who and of Budgie, Minder and Jonathon Creek. She always managed to inject charm and wit into her productions without it interfering in the main theme. The early Dr Whos were well written, but she helped to bring the stories to life, back in the days of depth and stability, when you couldn't fit one story on the back of a matchbox, unlike today when you could possible fit the entire series on one.

In 2002 she was awarded the OBE.

Her last production was "Love Soup" earlier this year. She died on 22 November aged 72.
