Al Gershwin Stade de France proved to be adaptable and versatile - much more than Wembley, or the London 2012 Olympic stadium.

Track/field sports, football/rugby - are all easily accommodated, quickly. The lighting/ fireworks display was magical.

Paris OLYMPICS opened so many boxes! Changed the traditions/use of historic venues - instead of buildings5⁵.

Smiling then at themselves...and now. Reminding Hollywood of the bar. Even Tom Cruise won't get over that...
hedda Indeed they were so clever using their assets.

The got a $Billion worth of publicity for Paris which will be hard to beat.
Al Gershwin Magnificent, groundbreaking, innovative etc., etc.....

Al Gershwin After a bold opening ceremony - the Olympics has been extremely good and unique.

May well be a very rare Olympics to make a profit, or break even.

Simply by using the river and historic landmarkks - all existing Parisien sites.

Other hosts weren't so financially astute (Rio/Athens/Sydney/London) - building new facilities, at enormous cost.
