robbiex Thats exactly what I was thinking when i heard it on the radio this morning, but they were never going to say anything positive about saville.
Green Man Not surprised they have not re-named the hospital.

JK2006 What an opportunity missed for all the news media with Stoke Mandeville in the spotlight for starting the Paralympics in 1948. The DJ saved the hospital from closure with his charitable work. If it wasn't for Jimmy Savile there would be no Stoke Mandeville in 2024. Wonder why the media has failed to give him credit.
