Yes I voted Lib Dem last time precisely because of Iraq.
I'm with you on Civil Liberties and Human Rights Al... the first party to announce that they are aware that, whilst real rapists and abusers must be found, punished and stopped, we must also look at the other extreme and deter and punish false accusers, bent police and lazy lawmakers

I met him a couple of Christmas's ago and he's a very nice man, but he still supports the decision to invade Iraq, so I do have a few doubts about him now.
I still maintain that if Ian Duncan Smith had remained as Tory leader they would have won the last election. Quite a number of Tory voters, including myself, witheld our support purely because of Michael Howard.
I'm not inspired by Cameron.
My vote at the next election will go to whoever promises to protect and preserve Civil Liberties.

Totally agree. He should never have followed John Major, but let somebody else (Ken Clarke?) finish the "fall-out period" and William could then be part of the rebuilding team, with the view to taking the top job ahead of the last election.
It still isn't too late, but I suspect he now prefers to be on the front bench, but not the guy that takes all the tabloid sh*t.

perhaps the best PM would be one who's lost before but may have matured into the job...
