Ignoring new technology is futile. Advances in medicine have been particularly amazing in recent years.

Cardiac problems, for example, can often be rectified now, via the wrist or groin - making open heart surgery unnecessary.

Difficulties with cholesterol nowadays are sorted - simply by taking a statin at night. Just a few decades ago, these were serious!

Ignoring inventions is madness - since satnav and the internet, amazing progress has been made in many areas of life.

For example - my car (not even close to top of the range) will park itself. No driver assistance required, except a button press.

Great for parking on a busy city street or carpark, and totally legal. Sensors do most of the work, with the on board computer.

So you can't parallel park by yourself?

Sat Navs are handy but I don't rely on it on every journey.
Green Man A clear decision of value for money - and necessity - by the Pentagon, on the move....

I will believe the Pentagon when they release all the 9/11 videos not 2 edited frames.

I bet the government would get a batch of Smartwatches from Temu and make out they are top of the range.
