My impression of Shaun Attwood is that he's a conspiracy theorist. Indeed some of the "top episodes" of his podcast in the link show that he's been interviewing David Icke. So I'm not sure how wise it was for William Merritt to be interviewed by him, as it may mean that some will dismiss his (fact-based) perspective on the Rolf Harris case as just another conspiracy theory. His decision to be interviewed by Attwood seems to show to what lengths he's having to go to get anyone, [i]anyone[/i], with a public voice to hear about his book and what his painstaking investigations of the Rolf Harris case - alongside Rolf Harris's new defence team - revealed, after being ignored by [i]all[/i] media.

As I wrote in another thread, in response to the argument that GB News and Talk TV are superior to more mainstream news channels, I don't take them seriously, partly because they didn't pass the Rolf Harris "we're more independent than any other media outlet" test. One of them (if memory serves, Mike Graham/TalkTV) was supposedly going to be interviewing William Merritt about his book on the case. It didn't happen and I'm not sure if William Merritt was told why. I (and probably others) wrote to both GB News and Talk TV (and Private Eye, and other newspapers) about the book and nothing happened. William Merritt was interviewed by Anne Diamond and someone else on GB News but it had nothing whatsoever to do with the Rolf Harris case or his book and writing to her to suggest she do an interview with him on that subject had no effect. As far as I know, the only journalist to interview him about the book is an Australian radio host based in New Zealand (who [url=https://www.rnz.co.nz/national/programmes/mediawatch/audio/2018879274/climate-minimisation-still-has-a-foothold-in-media]apparently[/url] questions whether climate change is man-made, so arguably another conspiracy theorist).

Green Man	Interesting Jo, I had never heard of him prior until last night, he came up on Rumble. I didn't agree with him but I just like to hear other POVs on things. I have said before I am for all kinds of free speech even if the person is absurd and deluded. I am still waiting for the police to knock on JKs' door for calling Starmer a Wanker.
