So GM what would you prefer? Higher taxation or a private health service and expensive insurance and Astronomical medical bills? And as we already know with the trains, post office.....private doesn't mean better than public.

You mentioned Luxembourg - excellent/free public transport. But, for example, health care isn't free there; €58 to see a doctor, and many other charges which aren't applicable here - like those for ambulances.
