Speaking of The Pentagon, when they release the videos of 9/11, apart from 2 shitty edited frames? |

The money spent on their campaigns is obscene. I don't know why they don't bring in some sort of sensible cap on it.
But what has pleased me this week is that you can have all these major celebrities in the entertainment industry that think they have serious clout and swaying power, all those billionairers outnumber your opponent, and have a campaign that had three or four times the money to spend on everything and yet with all those perceived advantages and backing it made absolutely no difference and swayed nothing because nobody was listening and knew dud policies and a dud candidate when they saw one, and no amount of money and celeb endorsements can polish up poor policy and poor candidates into something shiny and appealing. You have to talk to real people about real problems. You wouldn't think that was too hard to understand would you.
The people running the political campaigns must know that celebrities/influencers, etc. on both sides, e.g. whether Jennifer Lopez or Joe Rogan, sway voters or they wouldn't welcome their endorsements. But I wonder if some people might perceive the celebrity endorsements as rather patronising, if they consider the celebrities' political views irrelevant and feel perfectly capable of making up their own minds. I think I would.

Not forgetting the CIA and FBI.
You know what happens to people when they get too close to the truth. They get run over twice and then somehow fall over a bridge. |
