JK2006 I see the Booker winner is considered one of the best of the year in the Times which also raves about JAMES by Percival Everett. I'm currently reading (and loving) James. Hated Orbital - so badly written I gave up after 50 pages. James is so well written, gripping, different, clever. Oh well - different strokes for different folks. But for me, if I'd been a Booker judge, James is 100 times more worthy of being the winner than Orbital (only half way through though).
