Rich Very sad news this New Years Eve, just two months after his final BBC radio show, Johnnie Walker has today died just three months before his 80th birthday.

Horribly ironic that the news came through just after 4pm when Radio 2 had just begun Sounds Of The 70's in a moved slot just for New Years Eve. Incredible timing, and must have put a real damp squib on the show for Bob Harris.
