Rich The 39th President Jimmy Carter's state funeral at the national cathedral in Washington DC was most fun for watching the body language of all the former Presidents, VP's and first ladies crammed tightly together. It really was a thing of beauty to see such an event taking place with the timing just 11 days before Trump assumes the Presidency again and most of those people would wish to be nowhere close to Trump at this moment. From the moment Trump arrived you could see the stiffness and expressionless face of Al Gore as he felt he had to stand and shake his hand, right through to Kamala Harris doing her best to blank Trump despite the fact he was gazing away over at her as she arrived. Hillary Clinton couldn't look along the row anywhere near Trump and stared blankly ahead. Obama didn't seem to shake Trump's hand at all and went for his old VP Mike Pence in the row behind first, and shook his hand and others before sitting next to and speaking to Trump but never shaking hands, although once sat he did keep up conversation and appear to chuckle at one point. Oh to be a good lip reader!
