hedda A friend takes me to lunch at a harborside restaurant. Haven't been out for ages.

And what floats by but Lachlan Murdoch's beautiful old yacht.
I couldn't see who was onboard.

He has a much larger one on order being built. I'm not a great fan of sailing or harbour trips. An hour does me.

The Sun settlement with Prince Harry has barely received a mention in Australia possibly because the Murdochs own the majority of media outlets.

Rupert even props up his main loss making newspaper and cable TV "news" outlet where a host of very right wing waffle on.

There will be a general election soon. Murdoch will back the conservative party as he always does. They also have the backing of Gina Rinehart (wealth- $30B) who spent NYE at Mar A Lago and is a great Trump fan.

She reckons Australia needs Trump like policies (she hasn't spelled out which ones)

I'm very happy to be very old in the current circumstances
