It's very much like rugby league but a lot slower and it's beating the clock there is only 20-30 of actual football action in a whole game. With the NFL there is some bribery like in all sports. Timeouts and plays seem to take forever to do,
Canadian football is slightly faster and it's growing in the USA due to better plays and fewer pansies.
I used to love watching NASCAR but no mainstream channel airs it and online streams are minutes out of synch, most of them are very unreliable pirate streams. I remember when most US sports were on FTA even NHL and MLB. I still remember the Tories mentioning that many sports should be on FTA it fell on deaf ears. There could have been more Brits taking up NACAR than F1 and maybe some Brits in the MLB.
Even though sports are behind a paywall in the US, there is also a heck of a lot of FTA sports on TV in the States.
Live coverage of the NBA and basketball in general on UK TV has been bounced around on more channels than the courts. I am surprised no one has picked up the Euroleague for UK TV, it can't be that expensive to bid for the rights for it. ITV seem to spend all of their sports budget on a few league cup games. ITV Box Office was doomed from day one.
