Green Man I do try Cat but there is always someone selfish knob who holds it up high in eyelines.

I am glad I didn't pay to see Deep Purple last year. All the footage I have seen shows people with phones. What put me off seeing Deep Purple was Reef being the support act.

.
Downing Street ouisCat Don't get staring at a live concert through a phone. Just enjoy it with your eyes and ears. Put the phones away.
Green Man You can't compare heckers at sports stadium to a stand up show.

Those who heckle stand up comics or bands are annoying like talkers during rock gigs. Who talk about nothing.

I remember someone holding their phone in front of me taking crappy photos at the same time doing sports bets at the gig.

I remember when people did Po-go dancing and the only thing they had in their hands were lighters when the power ballads started.
Al Gershwin A place though, in human life - from the Romans to Shakespeare....

Footballers and sportsmen are heckled at all their events.
Green Man I am sure the moron who shouted "garlic bread" did it numerous times to get a reaction or a cheap laugh from the odd stranger. If Peter Kay was recording the show for home release it was probably advertised as such with a lot of camera crew, in the theatre inside and outside.
The heckler wanted his 15 minutes of fame but shit sticks mate.

Live concerts and gigs are not cheap but why do people insist on filming on their phones with annoying glows in your eye view? I have seen better and heard better bootleg footage taken from camcorders or recorded on dictaphones in the early 90s.

Plays are taken over by talkers like gigs and musicals are taken over by people by drunks.

If you tell someone to stop talking they get all aggressive and challenge you for a fight outside or talk louder.

I did see a tasty fight at a Hugh Cornwell concert 20 years ago in the aisle.
