Al Gershwin Musk's three main assets - and their percentage of his net worth:-

Tesla.....58%
SpaceX....27%
X.AI......8%

Though these figures vary constantly and from day to day.

I once had the loveliest Saudi pal who was a prince in the Royal family..his mother being the 2nd or 3rd wife in importance.

He lived a lavish life in London in the late 70s and was incredibly generous but there were so many scandals involving Saudis in the UK ..even shoplifting arrests etc, that all the royal princes of all descriptions were ordered back to Saudi to work in the government.

My pal died of a drug OD shortly after. I knew he couldn't face the strictures of Saudi life even though the Royals have Western privileges.

I'm amazed Elon Musk is still called The Richest Man on Earth when his wealth is tied up in Tesla (plunging ) shares and twitter / X.

Surely the Saudi Royal Family is the wealthiest with real wealth in oil and cash reserves of apparently over a $Trillion.

Musk has fingers in many pies, there is more than just Tesla and X. He roughly makes $8 million each day. Musk did what a lot of businessmen did in the 1980s buy a company that already exists and slap your brand over on top of it. Most billionaires don't have billions in the bank but in assets, Trump probably has a couple of billion in the bank but most of it is in real estate.

Alan Sugar saw a market on budget computers and tech and filled the gap. His early hi-fi systems were a mug's-eyeful as he called them but by 1986 or so they they were better than some of the expensive brands like JVC and Sony but not quite as good as Kenwood. Alan Sugar burnt me the most with the Amstrad GX4000.
Al Gershwin SA also has an abundance of precious ores - with gold high on the list - and are now steadily accelerating/increasing their mining activities.

Downing Street Cat And those super rich Arabs are idolised. Funny how mahoney can make all the difference. Unlike their poor Palestinian counterparts.
