I saw Searchers twice, with and without Mike Pender. I had a signed poster but it went missing. Sweets for my Sweet is very corny IHMO but I love Take Me For What I'm Worth and Each Time. Spencer James will probably tour as a Searchers tribute, he has been been part of the Searchers camp since the 1980s. (JK probably has some stories about Spencer and First Class)
I went to a 60s package gig and Dave Berry was on the bill, he refused to sign an autograph for elderly gentleman I knew.
I told the gent what happened, he burnt all his Dave Berry collection. It was another case of Never meet your heroes.
I do love some obsecure stuff by Chris Farlowe and this one.

Yet the government is focused on houses than infrastructure.
I went to see them as part of a 60's show in 2019, I bumped into Chris Farlowe in the theatre foyer as well who had sung Out Of Time, accompanying my mother whose era it was. As the Searchers were rattling off Sweets For My Sweet all I could think of was how many times they must have sung that and how bored they must have been doing it yet again! But they all seemed remarkably enthusiastic all this time later so I have to commend their total professionalism and dedication to their craft.
