Downing Street Cat	He's going to be crucified for saying he 'forgives' Smythe, and those who never set foot inside a church until someone dies or gets married will be enraged by the morning papers. Once the media dresses someone up as a villain they are always a villain. Prince Harry is also being put through the mangle again by the tabloids. Slow news weekend. Let's get the old villains out the toy box.
JK2006	Does it not dawn on Welby, Laura, Editors of national papers, police chiefs that it may NOT be an avalanche of genuinely abused victims but an avalanche of people who, often unintentionally, have imagined abuse, be it slight exaggeration or total fantasy? There's a load of money in it. Sympathy. The Prime Minister has decreed "you will be believed even if you are lying". If a vicar or priest or doctor or foster parent or DJ, popstar, politician - anyone gets accused there is massive publicity (great story) and overwhelming sympathy if you say METOO! If they are wealthy, also thousands in compensation. Welby may well have believed the church was full of perverts rather than liars. He was wrong. 99 liars or exaggerators or mistaken for every 1 pervert, I reckon.
