JK2006 Oh they certainly do - don't we all? But the point is - they need to grow a backbone - society needs to grow a backbone. Media publicity does NOT mean guilt. Accepted social sympathy for victims of abuse should NOT mean avoiding seeing liars or exaggerators.

JK2006 Oh yes Cat and as DPP he was only reflecting public and media values - why bother with trials? They often wreck a great story.
Downing Street Cat And gets me thinking if Starmer the Sweaty Harmer says 'You will be believed', then surely that turns any justice on its head because then the accused is presumed guilty until found innocent.
