JK2006 Exactly GM. Scars never heal - that's why they are scars. Wounds heal and sometimes become scars. We live with them. And not all victims are victims. I reckon 5%.
Green Man A few fiddled. So what? Get over it. Times change.

So victims should just forgive and forget JK? Not all scars heal.

Yes the politicians are clearly not up to the task. We must look to religious leaders to actually fulfill their purpose. Alas, I fear they have long ago abandoned that to earthly concerns.

I disagree Al. The first priority must be in being Christ's word in the world; regardless of our individual beliefs, what is the point of the church otherwise?

It becomes just a watery earthly "political" arm. Condemn the murderers in no uncertain terms. Using religious not secular language. And do it daily. Forget politics.

Worth considering - is this a better way to choose a leader than "Democracy"? People who know the individuals, are informed about all the problems and areas, selecting somebody for perceived abilities rather than for image?

I think so. And relating this to your other post JK, the process should be held completely privately/in secret, otherwise "democratic" considerations will inevitably creep in and water it down....
