Interesting article today about 'humane' executions

Now the death penalty is very controversial, and you will all have views on it.
The interesting part of this for me is that I somehow find myself for once in agreement with 'Chameleon' Portillo:woohoo:
Well he supports the death penalty, but won't have it because of the possibility of miscarriage of justice.
Nothing wrong with seeing the likes of Peter Sutcliffe swinging, but could you imagine the Birmingham 6?
In recent times we've seen that Scots guy (name?) let out of death row.Worse, remember that Iranian they hung after they sent his release papers.
Can we trust our legal systems enough?
A deterrent and punishment is badly needed for the genuinely guilty, but who can reliably say if those convicted are that?
