JK2006 I know nothing about his guilt or innocence, Jo, just like Lucy Letby and Andrew Malkinson and Rolf Harris and dozens of others. I do know, however, that the system is broken and that certain pieces of evidence SHOULD have been investigated by a responsible CCRC. I believe nothing that MWT ever says but even a stopped clock is right twice every 24 hours.
Jo Seems fair enough to me. I think he's guilty as sin. MWT apparently thinks he's innocent (MWT wrote some time ago that he corresponded with Bamber and received Christmas cards from him), and MWT always seems to be wrong. Perhaps now the CCRC will be able to devote time to more deserving cases.

JK2006 The CCRC has a remit (and budget) - it is NOT to act as a Court of Appeal, which is what they do. Without the money to examine fresh evidence, they make guesswork decisions. Appalling. Criminal. Police should be involved.
