Jo This woman claimed that, after her guests left following the beef wellington lunch, she gorged on a cake one of them had brought, felt overfull and made herself vomit, supposedly drawing on her history of doing this as a self-described bulimic. Now CCTV footage has emerged of what she was doing 30 minutes after they left. She was visiting the dump.

If psychiatric reports are done on her, it will be interesting to hear what they say. Mentally ill? Personality disorder? It's just incredible that she should have apparently led a law-abiding life, apart from once being caught drink driving, and reached middle age only to murder her in-laws, and in such a premeditated and cruel way.

The doctor who dealt with the victims and her when she visited the hospital, Dr Chris Webster, and who dialled 000 when she left against medical advice after 5 minutes and he was unable to reach her, has been doing a lot of media interviews (plenty on YouTube) and describing her in pretty ripe language to the Herald Sun. (Complaints have been received by the medical board about this and his lawyer has reigned him in.) When he'd asked her where she got the mushrooms, she'd replied "Woolworths" and he said that at that point he knew she was guilty and "evil".
Downing Street Cat Waiting now for the three part mini series.
Jo You're welcome to buy me lunch!

There is apparently going to be a drama about this case. Probably won't be the only one.

JK2006 Really JO I should buy you lunch sometime - your culinary knowledge has gaps! I've never liked Beef Wellington but then I'm not a fan of beef (or pastry). Wagyu - YES. Mushrooms? Yes but non toxic.
hedda It's an Agatha Christie novel.
