A very good point Rob.
What the repeated attacks on Magic Grandpa over the years ( mostly bad some good) and the extreme prejudicial media (now attacking the jacket he wears)have made him,for good or bad, a known quantity.
(for crying out loud Alan Titmarsh tried to say the fact his garden was a mess was some sort of disgrace)
I reckon JK being in show business would agree, publicity good or bad works.
I think the media will have to come up with new ways to attack him.
Is the fact the government wants to sell off allotments retaliation given Corbyn has one?
Where's the media outrage about one of the quaintest British community activities being dismissed?

It's hard to trust a man who cheated on his wive, like Corbyn did lots of times.

I think an avatar hologram would have more authenticity than the real Starmer. At least you could programme it with some more personality and tell it not to lie endlessly.
It will come down to what policies this new party presents to the public.
And seeing Corbyn crafted policies not only got Starmer elected leader but also as PM when he promised to implement those policies, it's no wonder Labour MPs and alleged insiders are screeching the usual abuse about Corbyn.
