Because the Free State remained neutral.

Green Man	Biggins will lose his only gig, which is GB News. Biggins promised my mother a free ticket for his panto, but when she went to the theatre, there was no ticket or note waiting. A man who can't keep to his word loses all respect. It seems Biggins has no respect for anyone but himself.
