robbiex Also I find it difficult to believe that you could sleep on an aeroplane while someone puts their hand down your trousers. I would find it difficult enough to sleep on an aeroplane in general.

She says that she hasn't been out for over a year. Do her bank statements show no payments to restaurants, cafes, cinemas, theatres, pubs or any hospitality company. Do we have to take her word for it. She may have had a terrible ordeal, but it is in her financial interest to exaggerate the effects.

This is a very good point that didn't occur to me. But even if it did happen in British airspace or soil with a British airline I still fail to see why she would require compensation. The person responsible has received a quite substantial sentence, and for me a genuine person would be very satisfied with that and move on. This woman wants money in her pocket and has run to the media to get further attention which has been indulged.

I also wonder why this is even considered a news story to be placed on the BBC News website in the first place. Who edits the BBC site and signs them off? The actual conviction was months ago. It just screams of more agenda based narratives being pursued by the BBC for their own reasons. At the bottom of the article there is the line - If you are affected by this article you can access support and information at BBC Action Line. Why would anyone be affected by the article, it seems like they are setting out to fish for more instances to further a campaign rather than be simply helpful to people who may relate to this woman in some way.

Honey Free therapy but no cash would sort the wheat from the chaff.
Green Man No money unless it's from his back pocket. Many settlements are funded by taxpayer money.
