It seems to be NINE women which, being interpreted by someone who knows nothing, means one initial complainant and eight others after much searching and grooming by bent cops, exaggerating, inflating and colouring up encounters, either mild or innocent. There is compensation in it - from the Government (oops - US, the tax payer) if the victim has no cash squirreled away. The initial complaint may be true, false or exaggerated (memory does strange things - often influenced by media coverage). Now, of course, after even greater media, a few hundred more will emerge as they did with Savile and others. And, as society, we encourage such ways of making money. You will be believed even if you are lying. |

I have a neighbour (84 years old) that told me she used "flirty fishing" (sex) to entice people, to join a cult she was a member of.
It's rather odd that alleged victims in these organizations complain long after the alleged sex assault.
Is it that it sort of dawns upon them they were raped or is a matter of just having regrets ( we all have them surely) long after the event and sort of change their thinking of how it came about?
**My neighbor has no regrets except she's annoyed she got too old to keep going fishing. |

And we wonder what the allegations are? 80s and 90s? Long time ago. Neil Gaiman the author indulged in kinky role play games with some female friends. Later they decided that his actions were wrong, despite being willing participants in spankings etc.. He was the domineering Master they were his submissive mistresses.. They weren't held against their will. It was a mutual understanding between adults from what I can gather. I think what happens is that someone can be shocked by a kinky confession from someone's past, and then persuade that same person what was done to them was 'wrong'.
I know nothing about the Chris Brain case either. Just saying. |

I stress I know nothing about this case apart from media coverage BUT...
I do know that police ("you will be believed even if you are lying") and enablers ("we can represent you No Win No Fee even if he is acquitted and get you - AND US - a fortune") commit the crime of attempting, and often succeeding in, perverting the course of justice.
Someone who had perfectly acceptable sexual encounters can find themselves facing exaggerated or invented versions of the encounters, especially after great media coverage.
It stinks!
