I remember when I was a small child in the 1970's and would walk the street holding a gun and firing it off with it's caps. Remember cap guns.
I had all manner of toy guns actually, there was even a large rifle that fired plastic "bullets" with suction pads that stuck to a surface.
I even used to constantly "smoke" those fake cigarette sweets in a full packet.
As an adult I have never smoked a real fag and have no interest in harming others with real firearms, or even my own bare arms!

Police should have known there was some sort of video game or film convention going on; there is nothing realistic about the toy gun.
I dread to think how much taxpayers' money is being wasted a keeping the young lad in custody. If it goes to court, no doubt the judge will be a coffin dodger who will have no clue about popular culture.
Judges are like the pastors in prison. They are normally so frigging old that they have no common ground with youth and young offenders. Who just tell you to pray and read the Bible, the usual feeble cliches.
