HisWestiness I think they naturally want there daughter back and to have any kind of publicity out there. Though I can't help but feel that they're "another" victim of the media covering a story sympathetically at first, but when thats stop selling papers they then turn the tables on them and go negetive because its all about building someone up and knocking them down!
JK2006 Not sure I agree with you here ITK; I think the media is the villain (apart from whoever took Maddie) and suspect the McCanns have innocently (and foolishly) gone along with that interest.

As for whether or not they are responsible, I suspect (from what I've read) not.

But nobody comes out of this blameless - until and unless the poor little girl is found safe and well.
In The Know Within a week of this "disappearance" I had posted my reservations - and everything since has confirmed my fears.

Whether the McCanns are guilty or not we do not know - but we DO know that they have used EVERY opportunity to promote themselves and make as much money as possible.

JK2006 The only thing certain in all this media hysteria is... not a single media person gives a shit what happened to Madeleine.

They are all, every one of them, totally concerned by the overwhelming motive of this brave new century...

IS IT A GOOD STORY?
