When I interviewed the then bodybuilder in 1980 on my radio show on WMCA in New York, I predicted he'd be a future President.
I was told it was impossible as he's not a US citizen.
Now he's Governor (very good I gather) of California. Who would bet against him as a future Republican President?
... especially as he's now part of the Kennedy clam !
Ronald Raygun, Arnie ... who next for President?
Lassie ?

Mind you, McCain also talks a lot of sense (and some very odd rubbish) - I fear he's got a screw loose and might be a dangerous President.
Having said that, Bush hasn't even got one screw in place!
I still think Hillary AND Obama would be a killer team for 16 years.
Agreed !
I doubt they would run together, though ... if one loses the candidacy then I expect they will take a back seat for another four years.

Yes - I rather liked Rudy - as Mayor of New York he improved the city without destroying too many civil liberties - was on the side of abortion, gays etc and was a quite NYC Republican, so would not have appealed at all to the right wingers.

Another two contenders bite the dust !
Edwards was always lagging Hillary / Obama ... but the real shock is Rudi Giuliani - who had only campaigned in Florida (a hotbed of loony blue-rinsed Neo-Con Republicans) and one commentator said "The more they saw of him - the less they liked him !"
