JK2006 back in the 70's I worked a lot with a brilliant cartoonist called J.Edward Oliver - he did all the drawings for my Polish Boy and the Pope children's book and many fabulous UK Records handouts including perhaps his best ever for The Sun Has Got His Hat On.

He died last May.

Thanks to this website I've heard from his nephew who is writing a book about him.

Not only was he a wonderful artist but a sweet person with a lovely gentle nature. I was very fond of him.
