Solihull Exile One of the few things the former CCCP does well is smoked haddock....had to go and buy a few after your mention...and thankfully even a motorway service station would be an improvement to some of the food here lol:laugh:

Solihull Exile Swedes are one of those vegetables very perculiar to Britain.
When I lived in Spain the expats used to ask me to bring them over...and in Ukraine I've never seen more than a Turnip..and they are not so popular.
Still never liked them after my Mother used to boil them to death...memories can linger:laugh:
Not a bad price for Gratin Dauphinoise,one expects Harrods to come with a price tag...but perhaps if you add in the extra quality and freshness you get...well their prices may be very reasonable.
