zooloo Interesting Guardian thing on this and it's illegality
zooloo I like the "completely innocent" bit.

Does this mean if they're found to have no tax disk on their car all asset are kept?

Why not apply the same standards to all MPs?
Al This is her very worrying admission on BBC Radio 4's Today Program.

Interviewer - "Is it really true that you going to suggest that people should have their assets taken before they've even been charged with a crime because that would seem to run against a very fundamental principle of British law?"

Jacqui Smith- "Yes it is and we'll change the law to make sure that we can do it"
In The Know Yes, have you assets seized BEFORE the trial (and if you are acquitted you will get them back !)

What next? When there is a murder imprison EVERYONE in that area until they can prove their innocence?
