In The Know Starts tonight at 10.30pm BBC2 - 10 days to War

New series of short dramas detailing the run-up to the invasion of Iraq, as seen by senior figures involved in the decision-making at that time.

The first episode is set behind the scenes at the Foreign Office. While Tony Blair faces a televised grilling, a senior government lawyer faces a personal crisis and plans her resignation. Juliet Stevenson and Kate Ashfield star.
In The Know I wonder what the combined US costs are??!!

As Barack Obama said recently in a speech - if the USA had spent just 10% of the war costs on doing something positive (like building schools, hospitals etc) then it would not be the pariah of most of the world.
JK2006 6.6 billion pounds in Afghanistan so far?

In the UK, a few hospitals, schools, better police...
