In The Know It's very worrying that, in an effort to "boost" rape convictions it appears that many people advocate lowering of standards.

Rape is no different to any other law - it should be proved beyond a reasonable doubt, and if that standard is not attained then the accused should be acquitted.

Once you start to "tamper" with the acceptable standard of proof, you open up a potential hornet's nest.
