Anthony ...or is Alan Titchmarsh absolutely awful as a TV presenter?

I have fallen into the daytime TV trap whilst off work. He found his niche as gardening expert at the dawn of breakfast TV, but quite how 25 years on, his TV career seems to be going from strength to strength is totally beyond me.

Feel free to tell me if I'm missing something.
