JK2006 Some wonderful Obituaries in the broadsheets with anyone whose opinion matters declaring him the greatest actor of his generation.

He married his wife a year before I was born.

Now there's a man.
JK2006 The greatest actor (in my opinion) of his generation - far better than Olivier - the best Lear I ever saw and his role as Thomas More in A Man For All Seasons was sensational (as was Wendy Hiller as his wife - I still cry at their parting every time I see it).
