JC In 1847 Easter was on 4th April, and they had 3ft of snow in York City. So snow in spring isn't anything new or unusual.
Foz Isn't it meant to be this cold at this time of year? We have had snow in March a few times before in the last 10-20 years. This time last year I seem to remember being in shortsleeves - now it feels more normal!
Mart I really wanted to like that film, but sadly did not.
Stephen King wrote the idea out so much better with "The Stand"(sadly also poor as a film/tv project.)
JK2006 Rubbish movie but the premise seemed strong - Global Warming and the consequences (Global Freezing) seem closer than we think.

Today it's bloody freezing. Spring? Easter? More like mid-winter.
