JK2006 Interesting - nothing at all in The Guardian - but a huge piece on one of their crusades - Rape convictions too low.

Hmm.
Mart I think April the 1st sums up the media as a whole..
On April the 2nd people should read every thing as cynically as they did the day before and try to work out who the joke is actually on.
JK2006 Far bigger piece in the Mail - strangely, despite being homophobic and bigotted in many ways, the best paper in the country is also the only one which occasionally champions genuine miscarriages of justice (far more than the Guardian or Indie).

Interesting.
JK2006 An admittedly tiny story in the Sun about Amanda Lang, 21, being jailed for a year (6 months) for falsely accusing a 19 year old of rape...

they report these incidents so rarely (and so small) because they RUIN the BIG stories (woman raped, child abused, celebrity convicted)...

If their readers started to think that sometimes these crimes never happened...
