Mart I watched Monk on Hallmark earlier, every episode is excellent, he`s a lovely actor, when you study the performances sometimes, you can see him lose patience with the character himself, which is exactly the way it should be played.

I have always hated the Wonder Years, I don`t know why, maybe it does not do the nostalgia bit with me or maybe it`s too close.
The Cat The Wonder Years is one of my favourite TV shows of all time.
In The Know I also like these shows, JK - feel they have the atmosphere of the era (late 60's / early 70s) just right.
JK2006 I've been rewatching some of these - reminding me of my time in America years ago; it really is a beautifully made and observed series, reminding me a lot of the sensibility that goes into Monk.

Like the very early Cosby shows, and The Simpsons (which still, amazingly, reaches similar heights - how on earth do they do that?).
