Clifford For once i have to agree. Excellent portrayal and an outstanding performance. I have new found respect for Mr Crisp. His use of the English language was beautiful.
JK2006 It was fantastic and John Hurt was brilliant.
And there were so many parallels with life today.

The witch hunts, the bigotry, the hatred, the nastiness...

Quentin Crisp was quite a character - brave and crusading.

Apart from anything else, it was so much better than most current TV.
