Mike Willis Being born in 1973, I have only heard about the series on your biography and (like the others who have contributed) I am looking forward to seeing them when they become available.

Another note to say, that having gone on You Tube, I have enjoyed going back to watching Entertainment USA and especially your interview with Elton John in 1989. Hard to believe that his career in the UK was going nowhere then, I remember Healing Hands being released and not even getting in the Top 40.
mikemacca what did the "good evening" shows consist of JK ?
emmapeelfanclub Your Mum was amazing JK. You said last year it was she who also made betamax recordings of "Entertainment USA" from which you were able to get newly transferred to DVD in better quality than they would had been had they been VHS recordings.

It's fascinating to learn she had a whole load of those "Good Evening" shows. I have heard so much about that series and feared it went the way of a lot of TV shows from the time... wiped and lost. It's great to know your Mum took the time to preserve copies of them! I'm sure there will be many fascinating moments and memories on those...
mikemacca You never stop making us excited JK. What a thoughtful mother you had !
JK2006 Going through boxes, I found a Christmas present from my Mum from the 70's with a sweet note in her handwriting.

It was wonderful - she'd had hours of my TV series Good Evening transferred from film to VIDEO TAPE (those old two inch tapes) at great expense.

I've also now found a company with those old machines who can convert it to digital.

It promises to be magic.
