I find your choice of comparisons quite interesting, ITK.
"911" was a man made event which took place over a very short period of time, as opposed to the Tsunami which was natural, or the wars which were drawn out. I'd see more of a comparison with Hiroshima or Nagasaki. |

Around 3000 people were killed on Sept 11th 2001 - that's about one seventh of the number that the Americans themselves kill in their own country each and every year ! |
