Mart Tempting, I`m in town this week and it`s one of the places I have not eaten.

Question for foodies...

I have bought a tray of duck eggs.
Ideas?
I believe they will be too strong for brekkie.
JK2006 Just to suggest some of the fantastic appetisers - you MUST have the Parmesan custard with Anchovy toast, wonderful, and the kipper pate with soft boiled egg - MAGIC!
One of my guests had the Oeuf en gelee which was fabulous.
In fact we all agreed, a full meal of 3-4 appetisers only (
Mart She had lazy bones, he can`t remember...
Mercurial Who? Let us know!
JK2006 Went out with 3 friends and had the most delicious meal at the Cafe Anglais - the appetisers were magnificent.

During which a very big star, who I hadn't seen in person for 20 years, came up to me and gave me a big kiss. Won't mention her name but it was a lovely and supportive gesture.

Also there was Howard Jacobson who wrote a very positive piece about me when everything happened in 2001.

The place was crammed and buzzing. Don't believe any bad reviews - this is a triumph; great food, marvellous service, good clientele, classy restaurant.
