Walter Sobchak Hardly surprising you enjoyed the script, most of it was taken from her own words, i.e. diaries.
But for once we really agree-it was most enjoyable.
JK2006 Delighted that Sam Wollaston in the Guardian was clearly as impressed by this as I was.
One of the best written and best acted pieces of television I've seen in a very, very long time.
JK2006 What brilliant television. Tremendous script by Gwyneth Hughes and sensational acting by the entire cast especially Olivia Williams as Jane Austen.

If there is TV in Heaven, she will have loved it (and so, hopefully, will my Mum).
