In The Know I see he is a Lieutenant already ! (Colonel by Christmas?) and can also wear the Golden Jubilee Medal (a gift from Granny !)
Denise Everyone who served in Afghanistan, or any other campaign, gets a medal, regardless of how long they were there. Several served a shorter term than Prince Harry and will get a medal for doing so.
In The Know ... for his "service" in Afghanistan ! Then they are going to ponce around Windsor for a bit.

The medal will be presented by his Auntie Anne (who is Major-General of something or other).

I don't know why he bothers - surely he will get another handful of medals (plus a regiment or two) for his birthday or Christmas?
