JK2006 I went to another 5 bookshops today including Daunts and nobody had Cold Cream - finally I found one and bought it in Waterstones Notting Hill.

Clearly a much in demand book.
Denise I'm often amazed by the frequency sellers underestimate the demand for a book or a record. It's not unusual for them to sell out on the first day.

A few years ago only one of the shops in my town stocked the new Hanson CD. I went at 10am to buy a copy and they had sold out. I went to other shops and was told by each that they hadn't bothered to order any as they didn't believe it would sell.
JK2006 to buy Cold Cream, the Ferdinand Mount autobio that reads very well, judging by excerpts - sold out in every one.

So I bought the new Sistine Chapel book instead - fab closeups and I'm visiting it again in the Vatican this summer.
