Martin Trendar Thanks. It's good to know the story behind it as I'd only heard the hit single version.
JK2006 Since stupid radio stations in the USA banned the original, I had to change some of the lyrics (they objected to "butchered off the sacred cow"... anticipating religious extremism) so I wrote an entire lyric about triviality and it's on the KingOfHits Box Set (as is the Hedgehoppers version).
Martin Trendar Listening to Offshore Music Radio a guy called Rodney Collins played 'It's Good News Week' a couple of weeks back. But it wasn't the Hedgehoppers Anon it was one by JK himself with different lyrics. I've written to him and he says he'll play it again on June 22. What's the story on this recording then?
