JK2006 when I heard this old track on a recent relisten to the Box Set. It is a song I wrote and recorded years ago that went nowhere - I don't think I ever even released it - but the clever bass hook and the strange lyric and the generally unusual arrangement and performance made me think... if I were sent it today, I'd go "My God, something different and original for a change".

As opposed to 99% of the stuff I get, which is just another version of an existing concept.
